Revisit the Second

Demanding 21st century laws for 21st century weapons.
BackgroundWhen the second amendment was written slavery was legal, women couldn’t vote, politicians settled disputes with duels, and the most advanced guns could fire maybe 3 shots per minute. Our lives, health, education, and technology have dramatically advanced since the 18th century—our laws should too.

The CampaignRevisit The Second is an awareness campaign calling for 21st century legislation for 21st century weapons. Typeface choices were inspired by both the historical banners from the women’s suffrage movement and the handwritten posters from modern day protests / marches. Soft, pastel colors steer away from political affiliations and help soften the approach to a difficult topic.
